Studio Policies
CLASS ATTENDANCE:
- Regular attendance in class is essential to the progress of the individual and of the whole class.
- Please be prompt. Students will sit out if they are more than 15 minutes late due to the fact that warm-ups are done in the beginning of class and the studio does not want any student injured.
- There are no refunds for missed classes. A student who misses a class for any reason may schedule a make-up class in another, similar class during the same session. Classes not made up will be forfeited.
- For private lessons, make-ups can be scheduled only if the teacher is given at least 2 weeks notice. For Duets, Trios, and Quartets – make-up classes will be offered only in the case of illness or emergency. You must call to notify the studio of your absence prior to the start of class to be eligible for a make-up class. Classes will be made up according to the instructor.
- For closures due to inclement weather, a message will be posted on the web site and the studio answering machine 1 hour prior to your class time. We do not automatically close on snow days just because schools are closed. Many times the streets are cleared by the afternoon hours.
