Tuition is paid year round and is due at the first of each month:
Auditions are held yearly in May/June. Please check our Facebook page for our upcoming audition date!
What to expect on Audition Day:
Auditioning girls/boys will check in at the registration table, get their numbers, say their final goodbyes to Mom and Dad, and line up to enter the Auditions with their assigned group. Current group members will be assigned to each group to help others learn choreography and to get to know them and support them in their audition. Our goal is that every child feels comfortable and leaves feeling that they had fun and did their very best!
Warm Ups and Get to Know You:
Once inside rehearsal all kids will be guided through some vocal warm ups and stretching exercises for singing. We will also take time to allow the kids time to get to know each other, introduce themselves, and ask any questions that they may have about the audition process.
Vocal Audition:
Each participant will be required to sing a portion of a song for our judge’s panel. Groups of 5 kids will go at a time until all kids have completed the vocal audition portion. Our current group members will be there to help support the other kids auditioning and will give each child auditioning a round of applause. No feedback or critiques are given during this time. Your child should prepare a verse and a chorus of a well-known song to sing a cappella for our judges.
Choreography Audition:
All participants will be taught choreography from one of our current songs and will again go in front of the judges in groups of 5 to do the choreography they learned from our current members. During this process one of our current members will also the choreography with them. Again no feedback or critiques will be given by our judges at this time.
Do I need prior experience to Audition?
The answer is NO! Many of our best group members have auditioned with little or no song or dance training. We are looking for natural talent and much of our judging criteria is designed to spot natural ability and not just a polished performance.
